Many women will be troubled by gynaecological complaints ranging from the quite minor to the very severe. The problems they present with are often very personal and they may find them difficult to discuss with their friends let alone a health care professional.

The purpose of this site is to give some basic information to women with gynaecological problems and to update them on some of the techniques that are currently available to treat them.

Similarly, women who are pregnant need access to information that is relevant to them, unbiased and that they can easily understand.

It has been set up by Mr Christian Barnick who is a consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He currently works both in the NHS as a part time Consultant at The Homerton University Hospital in Hackney and Privately at his consulting rooms at 212-214 Gt Portland Street.
